Prayer Bead Making Workshop

As part of the project activities, the Prayer Bead Making Workshop was organized in Ankara with the participation of individuals undergoing rehabilitation at BAYDER. The workshop was implemented to support the contribution of production-based activities to the psychosocial recovery process.

During the workshop, an experienced instructor (prayer bead master) introduced participants to the fundamental stages of prayer bead making. Practical information was provided about the materials, tools, and technical aspects of the production process. Participants actively took part in the process of stringing prayer beads under the guidance of the instructor.

Throughout the activity, the aim was to support skills such as concentration, patience, and hand-eye coordination, while also strengthening self-confidence through creative production and contributing to the recovery process. The workshop was completed as an activity in which participants actively engaged and provided positive feedback.
